Summer 2015 – Day 24 – Nothing to Do, Ilwaco, WA

Had a couple of big power boat neighbors last night.  They left this morning after we overheard the woman say she wanted to go to Astoria as there was nothing to do here in Ilwaco.  Our thoughts – exactly why we are here, we like having nothing to do.

Today’s boat project – a sacrificial zinc hung over the stern and wire run inside to clamp onto the prop shaft.  A trip into the engine room to bring the wire through and clamp it on.

Another great dinner – penne pasta with sauteed garlic, yellow zucchini, red sweet pepper and yellow and red cherry tomatoes, topped with grated parmesan.
